With those 2 gone and Huselieus injured how does the top 6 look opening night? A bit ignorant on the possible prospects ready to fill in for a scoring role right away but I would think that Mason would have to have a Vezina year that puts Thomas' last season to shame and Johansen takes Selanne out of the record books for them to make the playoffs otherwise isn't someone like Pahlsson on the second line?

I think bottom 5 in the West are (in no order):
Preds (2 of Weber, Suter, Rinne) as not even Trotz could fix that up
Flames as Iginla is far too valuable to the team despite having decent scoring depth(I think I would take out Bouwmeester/Giordano though)
Jackets, but maybe I'm just heavily underestimating their depth
Colorado as O'Reilly would be their top line center.
