People are vastly underrating Hamhuis-Bieksa and Edler-Salo with Luongo behind them. The Canucks are still an excellent defensive team. If we were to rely on only one player to carry our offense, who better than the defending Art Ross winner?

I don't think Hodgson or Schroeder will play top 6 C. There's an excellent chance that Malhotra takes over that #1 spot.

Who knows? Maybe these injuries are blessings in disguises. Kesler/Henrik will have less mileage for a second trip to the finals and we may replace them with a legitimate top 6 centre due to the injuries. Once Hank/Kesler come back, we'll have 3 top six Cs and an abundance of depth. Or maybe someone who needed the opportunity will step up?
