I would keep McDonagh and Sauer for the PK, but I still think a more balanced approach would be better at even strength. We already have our shutdown pairing in Staal - Girardi. A second shutdown pairing seems less valuable if it means having to pair Del Zotto with a rookie.
Experience wise McDonagh might as well be a rookie though.
