I've had miserable luck with leagues open to anyone and everyone. You've got people killing themselves to get in one in late August, but can't be bothered to ever actually play. Just be careful who you're getting involved with. Look at their Yahoo historical record and make sure they're committed to sticking with it. |
Exact same thing happened last year. Joined three leagues (all through here). People right around now were clamoring to get into the league, and by the end, only 2-3 people (including myself) in each league actually kept up with it. UnholyPrince can vouch for me, I'm pretty sure I was in all three leagues with him. I'll be pretty disappointed if we end up making like 5 leagues with only 2-3 people active in each league after the first month of the season.
