The only other things that I would add from last night are that I don't think our recent improvement in faceoffs as a team is an accident....What I mean is that there is no doubt in my mind that Johnson, Legwand, and probably the other forewards as well have been picking Perrault's brain about improving their own faceoff technique. [Does anybody ever remember Johnson going 9/10?]
Also, as a team, it seems that the wings are jumping more into get the puck than I ever remember last year.

The other thing about Perrault is that I thought he played much better than his "soft" reputation as far as willing to finish checks [I counted at least 3]....I didn't see him blow any defensive assignments either......I know, time will tell, and he also has a reputation for taking shifts and nights off......but, as far as last night, at least...I was pleasantly surprised.

I can't emphasize how much a difference going from a weak faceoff team to a strong faceoff team will benfit us in the long haul........
