OUCH! Beatings will continue until morale improves. Hard to find many pluses to this game but here goes. Moreau does his thing as a solid roleplayer. A dumb penalty but he plays everygame with heart and passion. Hemsky is showing elite skills and beginning to shot the puck more often. Smyth plays a full sixty minutes. And I still like Dvorak's efforts just ... can't ... score. Was glad to see Conklin get this start and felt pretty good about his game.

On the minus. Eric Brewer continues to spiral into complete ineptitude. H
Absolutely horrible. His performance was shocking bad especially after being called out by Kevin Lowe. Similarly, Lowe also called out Isbister and Laraque who responded in similar ineffective, invisible fashion. Tommy Salo. Brutal. Came in at a tough time but did not make any big stops to give this team confidence. Poor, poor, poor positioning. Power plays with no shots on net. How bad is that?

Lots of empty sweaters tonight. York, Torres, Horcoff, Chimera. Still waiting for circa 2002 pre-broken wrist Mike York to show up. His pepper pot, skating and energy game is not there. This team simply cannot afford to be outworked and cannot afford passengers.
