One that I remember fondly was his attempt to break the games without a goal for Toronto. He had done several interviews in Toronto about the record and how he was training. He said he was practicing shooting, making sure that his shot always went wide of the net. As we know he failed to break the record because he scored against us. The You Tube video is of that goal.
He was loved in Toronto as much as we cared for him here, in our time of sorrow maybe this is one of those moents that we can share with the Maple Leaf fans.
Absolutely, without a doubt. This has effected me more than any other loss of a professional athlete. It feels like I lost a close friend. A few days later I still can't believe he's gone. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, children and the rest of his family.
