Many points:

1. Rick Green looks the same as he ever did... scary.

2. Ryder and Audette are both righties... not a good pair...

3. Hainsey doesn't like to get hit... Quintal is a tuff sob...

4. Ribs looks like he's wearing down already and he didn't deserve that star imho...Yashin certainly did or even Souray...

5. Quintal's skating looks quicker as well, just like Souray...

6. The Islander play-by-play crew said two interesting things: 1. Both Hull and the Islanders said that Montreal ice sucks... hmmm... 2. Julien didn't practice any offensive plays until five days before the start of regular season. They focused on D and nothing else in the pre-season.

7. Koivu looked like he wanted to jump onto the ice from the pressbox and was chewing the heck out of his gum...

8. Good to see Rivet sticking up for Perreault by slashing Peca and cross-checking Parrish after Peca took one of his dirty blind-sided runs at Perreault, but missed.

9. Brisebois out-muscled two Islanders in the corner and dumped the puck out on a PK. Solid all-around game from him too, though not much in the offensive zone.

10. While carrying the puck, Yashin knocked Ribeiro down with one hand.

11. Another win... ho hum...
