You guys are giving this "proposal" way too much ****.
With the way the Sedin's were being handled by Boston's defensive units game in and game out, spreading the Art Ross talent over a few lines whilst throwing a wrench into Boston's gameplan probably wouldn't have been as disastrous as everyone here is making it out to be. Keeping them together
Generally, the Sedins and the Canucks are much better off when they're on a line together- that much is obvious to even the most apathetic of observers; but when that line is not only ineffective but
to the team every avenue needs to be explored, even if its only for a period or two (I will say however, that Kesler on one leg probably wasn't what Daniel needed to get going).
With all that said, teams don't have the same amount of time to prepare gameplans for specific opponents throughout the regular season, so there's really no reason for them to be split up unless we fall into the same circumstances in the 2012 playoffs.
