Bob Probert grabbed Zetterburg in his first Detroit Preseason practice and tooled him, and Zetterburg had to wonder what league he was getting into. Zetterburg bounced back and took it as an oppurtunity to show his teamates he couldn't be intimidated, and he won the respect of his teammates - hopefully Filatov does the same.
Last Night Filatov was good with the puck, but he wasn't really getting his body into it, he was more using his stick, still has a long way to to go physically (as in using his body) and maybe getting a lick from his teammate will make him realize he isnt the golden boy anymore and he'll have to get into the tracks sometimes to be a real NHL'er
I`m okay with the hit as well, this is the NHL, keep your head up kid & don`t take anything for granted. Lessard is trying to get noticed as well, he may have over done it but don`t think that anyone else who has a shot to nail Filatov in the NHL will back off, they won`t. This is the kind of think that reminds him to keep his head up, luckily he was fine from it afterwards.
