a potential UFA Ricci isn't near enough value to move Comrie, though I really like what Ricci brings to the game.

As for "fit" on D, I think Hannan would actually be a better fit, both in terms of the kind of player the GM likes, and organizational need (when considering Staois is a potential group 5 UFA this summer, and Smith a group 3 in the 05 summer (assuming the CBA stays as it is, it's almost inconceivable tht the CBA would change in such a way as to make Smith an RFA at that time anyways).
