In that particular hit, yes, more weight would have helped. Ovechkin is a pretty big guy, and he was braced for that. If Ellis catches him off guard I think Ovechkin at least stumbles. Ellis didn't take any time at all to get back up. What I like most is how hard he hustles to get into the break out that he created by forcing that turnover
