All I really hope is that he can successfully motivate our players to treat hockey as their career, not a hobby.

Agreed wholeheartedly. I only posted that to show that the guy hasn't exactly found any North American diamonds in the rough. Florida's draft record is pretty unremarkable, with only their high picks turning into anything useful, as far as I can tell. And useful on the Florida Panthers doesn't necessarily mean anything at all.
I sound like I'm being hard on the guy, but I don't mean to be. I don't know how scouts are really qualified anyway, except superstars like Hakan Andersson. I wish him the best of luck.
