Mike Fountain in 1996 against the Devils.

The incredible thing about that game is that Fountain nearly scored a goal – with the Devils’ goalie pulled, he shot the puck down the ice and hit the post square on.

If he’d scored, it would have been a feat for the ages – the NHL could go on for 1000 years and no goalie will have a shutout and a goal in his debut again.
