I disagree there. There's something about the really tiny talented players (Gionta, St. Louis, Fleury) that have or had an uncanny ability of not getting crushed despite their size. Desharnais also has this ability. He'll get his injuries like anyone else, but i doubt he'll get KO'd by anyone.
From what i've gleaned from Desharnais, his biggest weakness is his ability to skate away or past defenders a well as scoring ability. And I bring these things up only because people think he can potentially be the next St. Louis. At the moment i just don't see it due to these deficiencies, but he still has time to get better in each regard. Still i don't see him being ever being in the same conversation as the three aforementioned players. Which is nothing against Desharnais, but these guys are just on another level.
