I watched a fair bit of Tampa last year, not exactly to watch Jones (
) but in what I saw of him he should improve the 2nd worst PK unit in the league. It's not as though you'd need to a stud be help make an improvement from 29th to 20th.
All I am saying is that Jones causes ALOT of ga. I mean ALOT. He is punching bag cause he loses teams games, notably he gave away two games in OT in the VAN-LAK series a couple years ago. I mean gaveaway. Now I'd rather keep Jones as a #7 playing 25-40 games a year since its better for the youngsters to play in St. John's, but if a top 6 d-man goes down for even a week, I call up somebody like Postma who is equally as bad defensively but actually adds lots of offense or Kulda to help be a solid stay at home guy.
