Why does everyone expect him to bounce back and be an above average goaltender? I'm not expecting anything great this season from him that would make him a big acquisition for a playoff team. The Caps have Vokoun, Flyers have Bryz, ect.
I don't think there's anyway Brodeur ever gets traded. His season was not Brodeur esque. His problem has been the same for a number of years now; he gives up extremely weak goals, and extremely inopportune times. The Devils should have enough fire power with Parise healthy to reduce the liability of Marty in most games. I think the Devils are a playoff team, and if not they'll be right there.
