Another thing is that the Habs are one of the few teams that don't play in a rookie tournament, instead choosing to teach the young prospects the system. |vets already know the system...thus, in my opinion, the more exhibition games they play the better. A great experience for young prospects, a great way to get in game shape, and a great chance for the fans to see upcoming talent.
