The NHL will have a 1:30 p.m. news conference on the field at Citizens Bank Park today to announce the worst-kept secret in North America: The Flyers will face the New York Rangers there on Jan. 2.

So how can you buy a ticket?

A Flyers official said the team is waiting for the NHL to "manifest the building" _ that is, determine how many seats can be added _ and set ticket prices before they move forward. I would guess about 50,000 peopler will be able to fit in the hockey-created stadium.

The official said Flyers season-ticket holders will get first crack at tickets.

The Flyers are waiting to hear from the NHL on how many tickets will go to the Flyers, Rangers, Phillies and the league.

When that _ and the number of tickets to be sold _ is known, the Flyers will make an announcement on how they will make tickets available.

After Flyers' season ticket holders are accomodated, partial season-ticket holders would be next in line.

It seems likely a lottery will be held for some tickets, though the Flyers' executive said nothing is definite at this point.
