The thing is, I don't believe that management or the coaching staff see it that way. I actually believe they see Kuba as a member of the top 4, let alone top 6, when healthy, and blame is injuries and rust resulting from them when he did play. So Kuba essentially has a spot to lose in the top 6, and while he may yet lose it, we won't know that for a month or two I'd say.

At that point, they will begin to look at their options in terms of trading him (if he has played well), or waiving / benching him (if he hasn't). But either way, don't expect him to be anywhere but in the Sens line-up for a month or two. As such, someone else has to go to Bingo or the press box.
