I think that the advice of shooting is a great tip. Just fire the ball on net, have someone crash and look for the rebound. Most times the goalie will have rebounds so it's just a matter of tapping it in.

If you want to try this move, I think it works well if you have the hands for it. Probably shouldn't try it unless you have the game in hand though.

If you notice that the goalie goes down a lot and you have a breakaway, come in at an angle of whatever your shooting hand is and fake like your going to snap a wrister off. When the goalie goes down on his knees, pull it across to your backhand and try to one-hand tap it in.

Now you see why you do it when the game is in hand.

Chances are you mess up, but it sure looks pretty if you pull it off.
