Honestly, I admit that I too, brushed Handzus aside in the past. I remember him quietly putting up solid plays on a St. Louis team that won the Presidents Trophy with Handzus as their #2 center. He had shown flashes of brilliance in STL and still does. Unfortunate for him he goes to teams that are pretty much set at 1-2 and doesnt get a chance to show what he can fully do. Hes big and can skate. You put him in a situation like savard or morrison and hes putting up 80+ a year. Hes still young enough that he might get a chance in a situation like that.
