One NHL 30 goal scorer and he last accomplished it five season ago (Hejduk). They have more 20-something goal scorers in their top six compared to NSH/PHX but a crisper hard-working style of play should be the sort of thing they strive towards (and, like NSH/PHX, they're a low payroll club at the moment). Being harder to play against wouldn't be a bad thing for them but I'm not sure they're ready to play at that level consistently. A lot seems to be on Duchene & Johnson breaking out in a big way and Mueller's return helping out the PP. Landeskog looked pretty decent against DET and they're probably going to need his net presence in a heavier role as the season progresses.

Excited to catch RNH's first game. He looked ready physically in the pre-season. I think he sticks and takes the Calder.

Walsh going off on Shanahan now: "[Bouchard's two game suspension] is a shameful farce for the League....All in all, these 20 minute disciplinary hearings are nothing more than kangaroo courts."
