Gomez and Cole weren't bad. Gomez himself really seems to be stepping up from last season, just because he hasn't converted yet doesn't mean I won't give him credit for that.

Cole proved to have quite an impact on the playstyle in the offensive zone. He clears space like we never had before. He does his job pretty well so far, but he hasn't been stellar. Who cares? He'll settle in, JM is a good ennough coach to trust him on that.

Desharnais had been overall good, but his classic weaknesses are still catching up with him. Can't wait to see Eller back, so DD can shine as a playmaker winger.

I loved seeing Weber and Emelin together. It seems like there is chemistry between this odd pair, and we might see them as a pair again in the future.

Diaz played well overall during the game, but it seems he can blossom into a better player while paired off with Gorges than with Spacek. Let's wait and watch for that.

Pacioretty had an okay game, but he broke the ice for scoring, so I'll be happy for now.

Moen proved to be great. Like Darche, he's a great plug to use, but I really hope we won't have to use him overly on the top-6 in the future. Maybe if we bring AK to replace Cammelari, so we have AK-Plek-Cole as a 1st line, and a 3rd line would be Moen-DD-Darche? The size and defensive reliability of both Moen and Darche might make things easier for DD.
