Price is RFA. Why not wait till the season's over? Then lock him up long term, absolutely, but there's really no rush at this moment.

Edit- To echo Adam 91, put Gorges on the list. He's not as important to the team, but IMO it's more important to sign him during the season. The sooner the better, frankly.
