I think I saw (had beers) an interview where he said that his nb has always have been 51, but he had to change in the AHL... He asked for his original number.
For his defense against comments here:
1. He recovers from an injury
2. Give him at least one season to adapt to the NHL. His first season in AHL wasn't incredible either.
3. The real problem is Gomez in 5-5 and PP.
