Not everyone who gets a decent scouting report will wind up in the NHL. That's why you need a whole boatload of "very very solid prospects" to be able to build a team from within. We still only have a handful, and that is why we are rightfully ranked 24th out of 30.
so it would be ok for sather to trade away prospect to improve the rangers? so if he trades moore prucha and lampman for comrie you wont say anything right? because not everyone that gets a good scouting report makes it into the nhl? the rangers have a boatload of nhl prospects, future superstar prospects two in blackburn and tjutin but a boatload of projected #4 d-men and 3rd line players.
