Hey its kind of a boat..

As long as there are fans like Jar Jar, it'll float...

Sorry boys, I was beatin' the same drum as much as this time last year, but if you're honest with yourselves, and the direction (or lack thereof) this team has taken since Smith was fired, you'll stop defending the guy, and realize they haven't improved in SIX YEARS.. Three on his watch.. (you know, the guy who said if he had the Rangers payroll. he'd never lose..)

Why wouldn't the floor boards be ripped up and this team be rebuilt anew after one of those dreadful seasons?? Is it the fans fault?? Fans like us, who know where the criticism lies, and would rather see the Wolfpack called up en masse win or lose, or fans like yourselves, who keep glossing over home ice wins against opponents who played 4 games in 5 nights??

What you fail to realize is noone is complaining about JUSt the Dunham deal, or JUST the Lindros deal, or JUST the Bure deal, or JUST the Kovalev deal, or JUST the Poti deal, or JUST the Carter deal and so on...

Now why don't we take a look at all the youth squandered in those deals?? Some might not be much, but they had value then.. If he didn't like them, why weren't they dealt for similiar aged players, more of his "type" instead of being packaged together and depleteing any and all trade chips which could have actually built organizational depth???
