4th line plays 5-8 minutes even strength on any given night. Read there does not make sense. Having said that, Hartnell gets no special teams and his TOI would just be even strength. His play has been poor though and probably deserves to be demoted.

Couturier looks great on both sides on the ice and I think could produce if he gets the chance.

JVR has 21 shots in 6 games vs the 70 in 11 playoff games. He is shooting less and not single-handedly generated chances like he did in the playoffs. At one point in the neutral zone instead of rushing down the boards and challenging the defender, he simply made a short pass to Jagr to take it into the zone.

I think Simmonds-Giroux-Jagr makes sense. They look good on the PP.

JVR-Briere-Read could be decent and might get JVR going. At least he would be leading the rush more often than on a line with Giroux and Jagr doing it more often.

Couturier-Schenn-Voracek/Hartnell-Talbot-Nodl
or
Hartnell-Schenn-Voracek/Talbot-Couturier-Nodl is the question. Voracek likes to lead the rush, so he can work in either combo I think.
