Not excited to watch the habs anymore. And it's not because we are losing.

I hated Carbonneau but the games were still entertaining. Martin took over and I lost interest in the team with his boring style despite the run. Halak's stellar play made that playoff run palatable, nothing else, and defintely not Martin. Everything else was dull as **** and has been for 3 years now.
I watch other games on Center Ice and just WISH Montreal could play a style of hockey that's actually fun to watch and not so systematic and passive aggressive
That's why ultra-defensive coaches like Martin rarely last more than 3 years behind the bench of a team. They have to make a deal with their top scorers : "You play in my system. The result is that you won't get as many points, but in return we'll get more wins." But when the wins are not coming, it's like the coach is not respecting his part of the deal and the top scorers start wondering why they should accept to get lower personal stats (which is detrimental to their future contract) if it's doesn't even help the team to win.
I'm pretty sure a guy like Cammalleri would welcome a more offensive minded coach with his arms wide open.
