Do that maybe 7 - 9x a year? So you have more 2-3 hour flights while east coast teams have 2-3 hour train rides. What's the difference?!
If this truly IS an issue with FAs signing in the west, what a bunch of wimps!!
I think it has more to do with how many extra days the player is away from his family. I don't think players care about the actual physical travel, just the extra days in a hotel that could have been spent with family.
Parise also has a certain agent that would make it difficult for Dean to get a deal signed.
