I'm a fan of neither team, and I don't consider MPS and Kane to be particularly close at all in terms of value, I consider Kane to be way more valuable. I'm still far from sold on MPS, he has great speed and flashes of high end talent, but he's weak on the puck and seems like one of those "all the tools, no toolbox" players so far. I have questions about how well MPS is gonna adapt to NHL play, while with Kane I have no questions, I'm quite confident he'll become a 1st line winger with a solid amount of grit/power in his game, a prime Erik Cole at least, and quite possibly better.

But again, this seems like a total BS rumor, not being reported by anyone reputable, and Kane's agent completely denies it.
