Winnipeg has great restaurants. A colleague of mine who moved from Toronto via Vancouver raves about the quality --- says he's never had a bad meal in Winnipeg.

I'm with you....thinking a cab sounds nicer for a couple of non-snow drivers from California. Plus I think we'll actually save money in the end.
