Did anyone think that maybe this was a decision the team made? I remember reading quotes from some of the Canucks before we played them about trying to kind of ride out the first couple minutes of the game after the ceremony for Rypien because of the emotions. Maybe the team felt they didn't need something like that. As you can see from the Prust quote above, these guys can all honor him their own way individually. I'm sure the team an the organization have done plenty for the Boogaard family. There are plenty of things you can criticize this organization for, but the Rangers always handle these situations with extreme class. I have a hard time believing they really just dropped the ball on something like this. But of course that won't stop the complainers from finding something else to ***** about.
