I really like playing down and getting a goal or two and some assists cause in the league I play in I'm only mediocre and rarely get an opportunity to put the puck on net as a defensemen.
Yeah Gibs, this wasn't meant for guys like you because:
You're a sub, not rostered in the lower level
You actually feel bad when you go all out
You don't try to personally influence the outcome of the game
I don't think there's anything wrong with playing down if you have friends/family on the team and you are just filling in.
