If TOR is willing to pick up Jagr's bloated contract (with WASH picking up some of the salary), I bet they could get Gonchar for about free.

And I don't think that WASH cares if Jagr stays in the EC. They aren't going to be competing for a play-off spot this year w/o Jagr & Gonchar, and if they have to give them away, it's a hard core rebuild in DC.

Salary impact in TOR could be mitigated by moving some bad contracts teh other way (Reichel), or by "natural" attrition (Roberts, Niewendyk, etc).
