It was an AHL trade

A similar situation happened with Travis Brigley of the Ducks last year, he was traded from Cincinnati to Hershey, but still remained Ducks property until the Ducks traded him to Colorado in the off-season
OK, but why would the Flyers/Phantoms do this trade if Stock wasnt going to be able to play for the Flyers? The Phantoms wouldnt just throw way an offensive player for Stock.
