Let's not forget that if Jagr was involved, WSH would be picking up probably about half of his salary. Suddenly it doesn't become as much of a gamble for the Leafs because they aren't paying Jagr such an exorbitant amount of money. Either way, I would think anything involving Jagr would have to start with Kaberle and go from there, since the Caps do need to shore up their D.
Not that Kaberle is the way to go if you really want to shore up your defense.
