Some numbers to take note of, 9 games into the Canucks season:
T1st in League - Goals For (31, tied with the Avalanche)
T3rd in Conference - Goals Against (18, tied with the Flames, St.Louis, and Detroit.. but all have 1 less game played than us)
5 - As in wins at home. Tops in the league. (5 - 0 - 1 - 0)
11 - As in +11, Marek Malik leads the league
9 - Number of points which both Naslund & Morrison have.. leading the team.
29 - Team lead in PIM's, stand up and bow, Eddie Jovanovski (most were attributed to one game where he got a misconduct)
5 - Naslund's team lead in goals is back again. While not league leading, the other 'league leaders', are either on hot streaks out of the gate (Mariusz Czerkawski with 7, Knuble with 6 I think), or are played 25+ minutes a game and should wear down slightly as the season goes on (Ilya Kovalchuk with 10).
0 - Number of points for Bryan Allen, the only Canuck player yet to record a point
T9th - Penalty killing.. 85.7%. Not good enough!
T14th - Power play.. 16.4%. Not good enough either! Although we do have..
9 - Power play goals.. in 9 games. Not bad.
5th - In average attendance (18,630)
24:22 - Minutes played for Mattias Ohlund, once again our most-used player not in between the pipes.
29 - shots for the captain, Markus Naslund, leads the team
