I like Tanguay, and I don't subscribe to the opinion that he's worthless without Hejduk and Forsberg but he doesnt carry nearly the same value as Theodore.

Then again, I definitely don't think Montreal would be wise to deal off a young talented goaltender.
Their building for the future, and he's still young.

Garon is not ready to take over the reigns of a #1 job in my mind, and they don't have much that could be anything more then respectable AHL'ers to become their #2 goalie.
exactly........there is no way in hell that Gainey would trade Theodore(27 year old MVP and Vezina winner only 2 seasons ago) for Tanguay, who has arguably the best linemates in the league with Forsberg and Hejduk. Clearly, playing with the likes of Forsberg and Hejduk will definately help make you look good in the stats department
