Earned an "A" to start this season, when ex-NHLer Andreas Dackell is out of the lineup, 21 year old Silfverberg has worn the "C". Pierre McGuire likened him to Jere Lehtinen last year likely based on something he heard from a scout, I've heard the mention of Loui Eriksson. KRM one of the Swedish posters likened him to a poor man's Alfredsson only to come back and retract the "poor man's" label as "there is nothing poor about this player".

Head Scout in Ottawa said he's a 3rd line caliber player at the moment and how much he can improve his quickness will determine how good he gets. He's a smart two way winger, that plays a north south game, goes hard to the net, soft hands and has pretty high end shooting ability.

I think the kids on to something sticking another year and becoming even more of a top player in that league before he jumps over. He's made it clear he'll be in NA no matter where they want him to play.
