The Bruins are a tough team because that's the way they play as a team. It has little to do with the actual players and more with their philosophy as a team. That gif up above is Brad Marchand. You really think 5'9", 180 pound Marchand is any kind of tough player on his own? The Bruins only have maybe 3-4 actually tough players on their roster, the same as most other teams in the league. The difference is most of their roster is willing to muck it up when needed. It's a team philosophy more than it is their players.
