Careful there, I remember Jonathan Ferland playing with the habs during Gainey's tenure.
Plus, Engqvist will likely only play if one of Cammy or Gomez can't and that's because White and Kostitsyn are still injured. So that's saying that Engqvist is our 15th forward.
I fail to see how having a guy who's not spectacular, I'll give you that, but can still play a regular shift in the NHL without hurting you too much as a 15th forward is such a lack of depth.
Plus, when gainey was around people would complain about why we sign old veteran plugs instead of giving a chance to our prospects. That's what we're doing now and people are still complaining. Shocking isn't it?
