Wow that must be cool, have fun... I would definately help if I lived in the area. I have a very close friend who lives in Finland, I would have loved to learn Finnish haha.
You could always stay somewhere like Connecticut, Rhode Island, or New Hampshire. Hotels might not be as expensive there, and you could drive to Boston.
