Either way, no one is getting dealt if the Sens are in the playoff race. That was my point.
I agree, if Filatov stays in NA he will get a chance again to show he can play in the NHL. If he goes to Russia he for sure won't, that's why it's such a bad choice for him if he truly wants to play in the NHL.
Anyways, if he goes back to Russia, IMO, he's done as an NHL player and will probably just fade away like a lot of other Russian's before him.
I'd be very surprised if we're in a playoff spot come February, most of our players are playing at or above expectations and we're 9-9-1 holding onto the 8th spot and we've played the most games in the league. Anyways it'll be interesting to see what happens with Filatov, he hasn't exhausted all his options yet but you have to think that if he goes to the KHL he's done in the NHL.
