Butler TOI:
8:19 Nov. 15 vs Flames
8:24 Nov. 12 vs Leafs
10:30 Nov. 11 vs Sabres
15:46 Nov. 9 vs Rangers
14:46 Nov. 5 vs Sabres
12:18 Nov. 4 vs Canadiens

Filatov TOI:
8:51 Nov. 5 vs Sabres
7:18 Nov. 4 vs Canadiens
6:34 Nov. 1 vs Bruins
5:16 Oct. 30 vs Leafs
The real problem is how many ******* penalties we take every game. It's impossible to roll four lines when you're on the PK for half the second period, like last night. So who gets their minutes cut? The fourth liners who don't play on the penalty kill. Guys like Butler, Filatov and generally Konopka. Then you have to get your top two lines back in the game offensively because they've been sitting watching the PK.

This team's lack of discipline (and I say that generally, because there were some really questionable calls last night) hurts the coaching team's ability to roll all the lines and get a certain pace to the game going. Might explain why Butler's ice time was cut last night...there was 10 mins in the game where he wasn't part of the PK unit and then there was 8 minutes of power play time where he wasn't part of the PP unit. Which is why he ended up playing 1:45 in the second period. Also tough to justify playing a guy who hadn't been scoring up to that point. I suspect Filatov's ice time might be subject to the same rationale.
