Would the Jackets be Better Without Carter?

Pretty simple, up front. Would the Columbus Blue Jackets (3-13-2) be off to a better start after 18 games, had the Jeff Carter trade never happened?

Early stat comparisons:

Jeff Carter: 8 GP, 0 G, 3 A, -3 rating, 6 PIMS, 29 shots, 20:06 ATOI

Jakub Voracek: 18 GP, 3 G, 10 A, +2 rating, 12 PIMS, 37 shots, 14:38 ATOI

Sean Couturier (8th overall pick - let's just say, for arguments sake, that we drafted him and he made the team): 18 GP, 5 G, 3 A, +9 rating, 2 PIMS, 27 shots, 13:06 ATOI

Had we hung on to Jakub Voracek, and used our 8th pick to select Sean Couturier, would these guys have such solid numbers at this point in the season? Would we be a better team with them both in the lineup?
