Hopefully Dicaire and Holmqvist do some serious developing in a short span before that comes to fruition.

On the good side: I'd love to see the roster spot that just opened be used to move up Shane Willis. I know there's a snowball's chance of that happening, but I believe it would help a series of line combination changes that would help revive this team's even strength offense.

Were this my team, I'd move St. Louis onto Vinny's line and reunite that Willis/Lecavalier/St. Louis line that went gangbusters down the stretch two years ago. I would then follow that by moving Modin to his off wing (he's Swedish, he should be down with it, and it'll improve his shooting angles) and putting together a Stillman/Richards/Modin second line.

Willis/Lecavalier/St. Louis
Stillman/Richards/Modin
Andreychuk/Taylor/Dingman (AKA the Dirt Line)
Fedotenko/Cibak/Clymer

I feel that would bring a lot more balance to the scoring situation than what we have now and without sacrificing anything on the lower lines.
