I'd say that safely bolsters up our bottom 6. And Boyes could play top 6 also if Murray wants to go chemist..

Gives Buffalo a bottom 6 center they need to compliment Gaustad on the PK and on the bottom lines, and an offensively oriented defensive prospect they wouldn't mind having I am sure.


Boyes is a ufa at the end of the year and in all honesty he is likely to get a pay cut from his 4mil if we were to keep him....and Kaleta is an RFA. It gives Buffalo some cap space to work with which they currently don't have (about 2.5 would open up for them.) and we would get some meat in the bottom 6 that we could shed next year if it doesn't work out.

Boyes and Kaleta? YUCK
