Worth every penny because it ends when he's getting past his prime but not horribly. One more year after this, assuming he doesn't retire. That's really the only good thing with a few of these long term contracts, his, Richards', Carter's all took them to their mid-late 30s. The horrible ones are Briere's, Pronger's and Bryzgalov's. If Briere doesn't score he's worthless because there are no other positives to his game. Pronger is already slow and will get slower plus his body is breaking down. Bryz just isn't a mentally strong goalie and the pressure is getting to him. Kimmo, though, is on a slow decline while still producing but I worry that come February he's going to be burnt out. I just wish we could clone him as a 25 year old!
